Our mission
Stimulating diversity
As a board, we are committed to creating a culture of inclusiveness, equity and solidarity, and aspire to enhance and renew the AUC experience for all alumni, whoever they are and wherever they may be.
While hardly exhaustive, actions to further the ideals of diversity, equity, inclusion and justice include but are not limited to taking part in workshops to train the board in how to deal with diversity issues in a professional and open manner, uplift BIPOC voices within the alumni community, holding each other accountable and developing diversity and inclusion strategies in existing alumni programming.

Mission
The purpose of the AUC Alumni Association is to create a community for AUC graduates that inspires a sustained sense of belonging. This community serves to connect AUC alumni with each other and the college, both at home and abroad.
Vision
AUCAA’s vision is to harness the energy of the AUC community to form a network that supports AUC alumni socially and professionally. Over time, the AUCAA aims to establish itself as a long-lasting and valuable institution.
Sustainability
The AUCAA strongly values environmental sustainability so as to not contribute to the climate crisis. We strive to incorporate sustainability by minimizing our carbon footprint by:
Choosing the most sustainable option whenever multiple options are available.
Organizing the majority of board meetings online to prevent unnecessary travel.
Choosing sustainably when creating/ordering merchandise and extending the notion of sustainability to events, i.e. choosing venues with green credentials, reducing food waste, developing waste management plan, eliminating single-use plastic etc.
